Are You Out of Your Living Mind?

2 Corinthians 5:13 says, “If you live ‘out of our mind,’ as some say, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you.”

Although God has given us a mind to think and make good decisions, it is often contrary to the things of God and appears that we are absolutely out of our minds.

Ponder this with me, for just a moment. We must be out of our own mind... thinking, speaking, and living for the One and only Lord and Savior who can cover and forgive us of our sins. Only then, being “out of our mind” is for God. I think this is powerful. But, for all the times we may think we need to be in “our right mind”, everything is about being right in and about ourselves.

Are you living out of your mind or in your right mind?

As a believer in Jesus, to be out of our mind, we will recognize the cross has spoken! ~ “It is finished!” If we are out of our mind, we will believe the cross covers us, all the religious systems & disbeliefs. If we are out of our mind, we will know the cross covers our deceptions, fears & failures. And because of what Jesus did on the cross, living out of our mind enlightens our lives with faith, hope, life, and love!

With your belief in Jesus, you can be free, forgiven, and alive in Christ! Let’s stop being in our right mind and let Him bring you completely out of your mind from death (of ourselves) to life (in Christ)!

We must reconcile unto God for the forgiveness of our sins. Come back to Him! Surrender all that you are, all that you feel, all that you have, and all that you think in your {right mind} to God.

Sure, some people may think you are “out of your mind.” But guess what? They are right, and it’s okay. “Christ’s love compels us because we are convinced that He died for all; that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again. From now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone; the new is here!”

So, shout from the rooftops and tell everyone you are completely out of your living mind! It’s a good thing! Why? Because God is in the reconciliation business. “He reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting our sins against us. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.”

Isn’t this wonderful? So-what if others think we are out of our minds. “We are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead to all, “Come back to God!”

Remember, live out of your mind and not for yourselves, in your right mind, “God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for your sin, so that you could be made right with God through Christ.”

Tell everyone you are absolutely- positively out of your mind for Jesus and you won’t have it any other way! ❤️ 2 Corinthians 5:13-21.
