WHY STIR?
STIR comes from our desire to awaken and activate the spiritual gifts in every believer.
Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
1 Timothy 2:6 NKJV
And it reflects our calling to encourage one another in love and unity:
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
