Here's a few regularly asked questions
Here at MCC you’ll find a community of imperfect people seeking to know and follow Jesus, our Lord and perfect Savior, in all areas of life. No matter where you are in your faith journey and relationship with Jesus, you can expect a welcome and loving atmosphere during our Sunday morning gatherings, which is where the church comes together to worship through singing, preaching, prayer and fellowship. We would love for you to come and get connected to our church!
You may be wondering what to expect on your first visit to MCC. Here are a few commonly asked questions:
WHERE AND WHEN DO YOU MEET?
We meet Sundays at 10am and are located at 8625 Providence Road in Charlotte near the Arboretum Shopping Center. Our church is located on the same property as United Faith Christian Academy.
WHAT IS YOUR WORSHIP LIKE?
At MCC we want our worship to be that of freedom and passion, unashamed to express our love for and towards God. We truly believe that worship inspires worship. We value musical worship and believe it can be the connection between spirit and truth, head and heart, emotion and intellect. Music can encourage, convict, inspire, cause revelation, bring peace and comfort, be a means for God to heal, mend, or break someone, and of course, the purpose of music is to exalt Jesus above all else. We want to lift our voice passionately in thanksgiving for the gift of grace given to us through Christ Jesus our Lord.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FOR MY CHILDREN?
We believe that all children are world-changers! We think that upon salvation, they are powerful agents in advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to partner with parents to help children learn about and encounter God in special ways that will strengthen them in the Lord.
We see value in children both being a part of the corporate worship experience and in them being a part of our Kids@MCC Ministry. This is one of the reasons why we have our Big Kids (kindergarten through 5th grade) join the rest of the church for corporate worship before heading to the gym for age appropriate teaching and relationship building. Outside of that designated time, parents should feel the freedom to make the decision that is best for their children and family.
When you arrive, your children will be securely checked in using our electronic computer check in system. A name tag will be put on your child and you will receive a security tag with a corresponding number that you will use to pick up your child when the service is over.
Kids@MCC aims to provide a safe and engaging environment for Infants - 5th Grade to experience God’s love. Children will hear age appropriate biblical teaching and have teachers who have been trained specifically for their age group. In order to best serve children where they are developmentally - emotionally, spiritually, and physically - our children’s classes are grouped together by the following ages:
Babes: Infants - 15 months
Wobblers : 15 months - 24 months
Toddlers: 24 months - 36 months
Preschool: 3 years
Preschool: 4 years - 5 years
Big Kids: Kindergarten - 5th Grade
We also provide a Nursing Mother’s Room on the Kids@MCC hallway where mothers can care for their babies and still hear the worship and teaching.
We pray that our children’s ministry is a place where children encounter God in real and transformative ways. We pray children learn about the unconditional love of their Daddy in heaven, the irresistible grace that is given to us through Jesus Christ, and the unbelievable power that is offered to us through the Holy Spirit! Most importantly, we pray that families are transformed and that our children’s ministry plays a small role in revealing the heart of our Heavenly Father to the next generation.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Some dress casually, some dress up and both are perfectly fine! We don’t think God requires a dress code to meet with Him, so we say come as you are!
