What is cultivated in a woman moves into the home, impacts a city and can change the world. Cultivate is a quarterly gathering for the women of our church and our city to come together to encounter the goodness of God and be empowered to walk out their identity. 

Join us as we celebrate this final women’s gathering for 2018! We are going to do something extra special as we celebrate the goodness of God over this past year. Please join us for a feast and a time of testimony and worship!

Fall Picnic

It’s fall ya’ll! And it’s time for our Fall Picnic! This year we are going to host the event in Downtown Matthews at Matthews Elementary School which will be great because we have reserved the baseball field and the track, perfect for a church kickball gameJWe will also have some corn hole boards for some friendly competition. The plan for lunch is MCC will provide the meat and drinks if everyone else could help bring a side item or dessert. Last names A-M bring a side item and last names N-Z please bring a dessert. When you register you will be directed to our Sign-Up Genius so that you can let everyone know what you will be bringing! Kids feel free to bring bikes, skates, or scooters for the track! It’s going to be a great time!

Our unique training approach allows you to actively engage in a process that encompasses personal transformation, leadership skills, team-building, relationship-building and cultural change; all strategically combined in experiential training that has proven, exceptional results.

Landscaping Work Day

Landscaping Work Day

Please sign up to join the Landscaping Work Day on Saturday October 6th at 8am.   On this day, we will be transforming the front and side of the church building with new landscaping!  The day will consist of:

  • Planting new shrubs and flowers around the front and side of the church

  • Adding fill dirt and amending the soil around the plants and flowers

  • Installing drip irrigation lines

  • Adding mulch into new landscaping beds

Needs / What to bring:
- Bring your own shovel(s) and rake(s) - be sure to write your name on it!
- If you have a wheelbarrow, please bring it. We will need these to transport mulch
- Work gloves

You do not have to have landscaping experience in order to contribute toward this project that will transform the exterior of our church.  

We will have coffee & donuts in the morning and pizza for lunch!

Love Life Charlotte | Prayer Walk

Love Life Charlotte | Prayer Walk

Love Life Charlotte, a 40 week journey of hope, is a campaign uniting and mobilizing the church to create a culture of love and life that will bring an end to abortion in Charlotte.

Join us on Saturday September 22 for an all church prayer walk around the busiest abortion clinic in the Southeast. The prayer walk will start at 9 AM and conclude at 11 AM and includes a time of worship, testimony about the tragic truth of abortion in our city and lastly the prayer walk itself.  Everyone is invited to join us on the walk and we encourage you to bring your children.  For more specific information about Love Life Charlotte, visit Love Life Charlotte.

Rally!

MCC is growing! Join us on this Sunday morning as we "rally the troops" and kick off a new season of ministry. God is growing our church and we need to get ready for what He is doing! At MCC, we believe that every person is significant, and God has a significant role for them to play in the local body. At Rally, we will focus on building culture, casting vision, and training in different areas of ministry teams within our church. We will also eat lunch together and every person will receive a free "Kingdom Culture" T-shirt! 

We look forward to all that God has planned for this church as we "rally together" and pursue the vision of encountering and celebrating the goodness of God and helping others to do the same.

10am -11:30am || Worship, Message on Vision, and Volunteer Training Breakout
11:30am || Lunch Served

*Kids@MCC will run as usual this morning. 
*Lunch $7 per person // $5 for kids under 10.
