The MCC Quarterly Calendar has a variety of opportunities to help people encounter and celebrate the goodness of God. Our desire is to offer many ways for all people, regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey, to engage with the Lord and others.

Spiritual Growth/Equipping


*MOPS – Mothers of Preschoolers is a nation-wide ministry that seeks to share the gospel with young mommies and provide a community to walk with on their journey. The MCC MOPS
group meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at 10:00 am on the campus of MCC. This ministry is led by Debora Pupo. REGISTER HERE


Night of Prayer – On September 17th, all are welcome to join us for a time of prayer as we
seek the Lord and ask Him to bring revival to our church and city! This prayer meeting
will be from 5:00 – 6:00 pm in the sanctuary of MCC and is led by Chris Pfohl.  No registration required.


God is Good – This 8 week study by pastor and author Bill Johnson covers the life-changing truth about who God is and how we should understand Him. This group will meet on Wednesdays from September 27th – November 15th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, and will be led by Lisa Shea. REGISTER HERE


*Loving Our Kids on Purpose – This 6 week study by pastor and author Danny Silk is intended to help you understand parenting from a Kingdom perspective. This group on Tuesdays from October 3rd – November 14th from 7:30 – 9:00 pm, and will be led by Ryan and Bethany Carson. REGISTER HERE


*Spiritual Warfare – Learning how to engage in the unseen spiritual world that we all live in is one of the most important we can do. Local pastor and author Percy Burns will lead a group through two weeks of eye-opening teaching on this vital subject. The two meetings will be on Thursday October 5th and 12th from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. REGISTER HERE


CONNECT @ MCC – Come learn more about the mission, vision, and values of Mission
Community Church and learn how you can be a part of what God is doing in and through our community. This meeting will be held immediately following the Sunday morning service on October 8th and will be led by Travis Mincey. REGISTER HERE


Men’s Leadership Breakfast – Learning to navigate Scriptures is one of the most important things that men can learn how to do. That will be the focus on our Men’s Breakfast which will meet on Tuesday mornings from October 10th to the 31st at 6:30 am in the sanctuary of MCC. This will be led by Ryan Carson. REGISTER HERE

*Praying God’s Word – Often times prayer can be confusing because we don’t always know how or what to pray. Susan Rollins will lead a group of women through Sylvia Gunter’s prayer book titled “For the Family” and focus on how to pray God’s Word. This group will meet over the course of four Thursdays from October 12th – November 2nd at 7:00 – 8:30 pm. REGISTER HERE

Night of Worship – Come be a part of this city-wide Night of Worship on October 15th at 5:00pm at MCC. No registration required.

Colossians Study – Join Adam Harward as he leads an in-depth study through the book of Colossians and the life-changing implications of this letter. This study will take place over the course of four weeks on Monday nights from October 16th – November 6th at 7:00 pm. REGISTER HERE

*House Worship – On November 8th at 7:00 pm, come join the MCC Worship Team for a night of house worship. REGISTER HERE

Visual Arts Workshop – Come and be a part of this workshop on November 17th from 7:00pm – 9:00pm as Josh Gomez leads a group through how to encounter the Lord through painting. You do not have to be an artist to attend. REGISTER HERE

Night of Prayer – On November 19th, all are welcome to join us for a time of prayer as we
seek the Lord and ask Him to bring revival to our church and city! This prayer meeting
will be from 5:00 – 6:00 pm in the sanctuary of MCC and is led by Chris Pfohl. No registration required.

Outreach


Kairos Prison Ministry (Closing Ceremony) – Come be a part of closing ceremony where
inmates will share their testimony of the impact of Kairos Prison Ministry on September 24th at 1:30 pm. 
 

I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist – On October 1st, MCC will host national speaker and author Frank Turek at 5:00 pm as he will be presenting parts of his book titled “I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist” which answers some of the most asked questions regarding the Christian faith. Please join us! No registration required.
 

Love Life Charlotte (Prayer Walk to end Abortion) – MCC is proud to partner with Love Life Charlotte and is looking forward to the end of abortion in our city. Come join us for a prayer walk on October 28th from 9:00 – 11:00 am. Church-wide participation is encouraged for this event. No registration required.

Social


Community Lunch – Join us for our monthly Community Lunch immediately after the service on September 24th from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm in the sanctuary of MCC. REGISTER HERE

Community Picnic – On October 29th we will have a Community Picnic immediately after the service from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm on Falcon Field, located directly behind MCC. Each person/family should pack their own lunch and join others for food, games, and fellowship. No registration required.
